Young Kim

Young Kim has over 15 years of experience in financial management. From 2022 to present, Young Kim has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Prime Roots. Prior to this, from 2020-2022, Young Kim held the same role at VINEBOX, a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company offering two brands: Vinebox and Usual Wines. In this role, Young Kim was responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cash management, key performance indicator (KPI), corporate tax returns, and external financial reporting. From 2018-2020, Young Kim was the Chief Financial Officer at NatureBox, a CPG company with U.S.-wide distribution. From 2016-2018, Young Kim was the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Genesys, a private equity-sponsored software company with 5,000 employees worldwide and $1 billion+ in global revenues. In this role, Young Kim led a forecasting team, ranging from analysts to senior professionals. From 2007-2016, Young Kim was a Director at AlixPartners, LLP, a mid-sized professional services firm with a specialized practice in financial management consulting. Young Kim was promoted from Vice President to Director in December 2011.

Young Kim attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 1989 to 1993 and Harvard University from 1993 to 1997. They also obtained a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) certification from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
