Robbie has nearly 20 years in software development and engineering leadership, focusing on technical execution and process improvement. Most of that time has been in the defense industry working with multi-petabyte-sized data lakes, transitioning architectures to cloud-tenant/cloud-native designs, and integrating into the IC enterprise. He is passionate about efficient, high-function, user-focused development. “Building culture” and “team first” are his guiding principles for work. He graduated from Arizona State University studying technical writing, software development and engineering leadership. He is the PSG Engineering Services business unit manager, drives the corporate agile development process, and leads multiple development efforts.

The company core is deeply rooted in science and technology with strong qualifications in radar systems and specifically Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems. The company headquarters and center of operations is located on the Goodyear, Arizona campus once occupied by Goodyear Aerospace, Loral Defense Systems, and Lockheed Martin. It was at this campus where SAR was patented by Carl Wiley, Goodyear Aerospace, in 1951. With our radar technology base, PSG specializes in the ground processing of remote sensing data (SAR, electro-optical, Infrared, and hyperspectral). In this practice we focus on algorithm development and deployment to transform sensor data into usable intelligence for military and commercial uses. This includes imaging, polarimetrics, change detection, object identification, moving target indication and automatic target recognition. PSG thrives on innovative technology insertion and embraces the digital transformation brought on by the Information Age. Technologies such as Big Data, Internet of Things, cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are used to build on our software and algorithm product portfolio.
