David Hayden

David Hayden is a highly experienced Senior Staff Engineer at Primer.ai since January 2018, focusing on countering disinformation and previously leading efforts in autoML. Past roles include Associate Director of Data Science at PredictX, overseeing R&D and product development in the California machine learning lab, as well as positions as a Data Science contractor at Ontos Global and Formisimo. David holds a PhD in Control Systems Engineering from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Master of Engineering in Information Engineering from the University of Oxford and a tenure as a visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Teaching experience includes supervising undergraduate research and labs, particularly in control systems and systems biology.
