Karen Engel

Karen Engel is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and collections management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Primeritus Financial Services, Inc. since April 2019, Karen previously held the position of Vice President of Operations at Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems. Prior to that, Karen worked at Crescent Bank for a decade as Senior Vice President and Call Center Director, managing a large team in a subprime call center environment. Earlier career accomplishments include developing a third-party collection agency at Crescent Recovery and overseeing collections for a $250 million portfolio at THE Finance Company. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Finance from Old Dominion University and an Associate's degree in Photography from Chowan University.
