Rui Martins

Rui Martins has extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as Technical Lead, Systems Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, and Infrastructure and Backend Software Engineer at Primetag since April 2020, focusing on architecture and infrastructure design using a range of technologies including Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Python. As a co-founder and treasurer of Hardware City from January 2016 to December 2021, Rui promoted hardware innovation between industry, startups, and the maker community. Rui also co-founded Data Science Portugal, fostering a data science enthusiast community from August 2016 to August 2020. Previous roles include backend software development at YouClap, co-founding Feet IT, and various academic positions at Universidade de Aveiro, culminating in a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Telematics.
