Lakshith Ranasinghe

Lakshith Ranasinghe is a Senior Development Engineer at Primetals Technologies, where they lead projects from concept to market release for new products in the metals industry. Previously, Lakshith held roles at Cathelco Ltd as a Design Engineer and at Cogent Power Inc. as part of a group project, focusing on enhancing product quality and efficiency. They served as President of the Sri Lankan Society at the University of Sheffield, enhancing their leadership and interpersonal skills, and they were an International Student Ambassador, promoting the university to prospective students. Lakshith earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, where they graduated with Honours.
