Lukas Pichler

Lukas Pichler is an experienced project manager and engineer with a substantial background in the field of metallurgy and rolling technology. Currently serving at Primetals Technologies since August 2014, Lukas Pichler has held various roles including Project Manager for Modular Coil Transport System in Japan, Product Lifecycle Manager for Hot Rolling Europe, and Head of Know How and Metallurgy for Hot and Cold Rolling. Prior to this, experience includes positions at Siemens VAI/Primetals as a Special Simulation Engineer, and academic roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and AGH University of Science and Technology, focusing on aerospace engineering and stochastic dynamics, respectively. Lukas Pichler holds a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Civil Engineering from Universität Innsbruck.
