Rachelle Lily has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2019, they worked as a Founder In Residence at Entrepreneur First, a talent investor program. Prior to that, in 2018, they served as the Deputy Director of Strategic Partnerships & User Experience Transformation at PrimeTime Business and Professional Women's Association, where they played key roles in website rebuild projects and developing strategic alliances. In 2017, Rachelle worked as a certified Hatha Yoga instructor at Yoga Alliance, where they focused on effective communication and adaptable teaching styles. Rachelle also worked as an Art Agent, Business Manager & Strategic Partnerships at Roja Shams Artwork, overseeing social media and content marketing, scoping publicity opportunities, and managing sales. Additionally, they had roles at Spark Festival, Laneway Creative, Marex Spectron, Tradition Securities and Futures, Tradition Energy, and XL Catlin, where they gained experience in hackathon program management, commodity derivatives trading, energy trading and operations, and specialty underwriting research.

Rachelle Lily's education history includes a Master's degree in Applied Neuroscience from King's College, completed from 2020 to 2023. Rachelle also obtained a HSK Chinese Proficiency degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Hànyǔ Shūpíng Kǎoshì, completed from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from Queen Mary University of London.
