Hrvoje MacEk

Hrvoje Macek possesses extensive experience in the pharmacovigilance field, currently serving as Vice President of Medical and Scientific Affairs at PrimeVigilance since August 2009. Macek has held multiple leadership roles at PrimeVigilance, including Head of Global PV Operations & EU QPPV, Senior Director of Projects and EEA QPPV, Director of Projects & EEA QPPV, Pharmacovigilance Manager, and Pharmacovigilance Officer. Prior to this, Macek worked as a Drug Safety Assessor at PLIVA from March 2007 to July 2009 and began a career as a Scientist - Toxicologist at PLIVA from June 2000 to October 2005. Macek earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Zagreb, where studies were completed from 1992 to 1999.
