Fengqiu Fan

Fengqiu Fan possesses extensive experience in application development and materials engineering, currently serving as an Application Development Specialist at Primient since April 2022, specializing in industrial starch applications across various sectors, including building materials, pet care, and cosmetics. Prior to this role, Fengqiu held similar positions at Tate & Lyle, focusing on new application development of starch materials. Fengqiu's background also includes significant contributions as a Chemist/Materials Engineer at Federal-Mogul Motorparts, where leadership in materials for automotive projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams were paramount. Previous roles at Dow Corning involved developing hardcoating products for mobile devices, while early career positions included research roles at EyeGate Pharmaceuticals and Johns Hopkins University, emphasizing materials development and nanotechnology. Fengqiu earned a PhD in materials chemistry from Tohoku University and a Master’s degree in polymer chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
