Lawrence Pociask

Lawrence Pociask has a diverse work experience in the field of tax and treasury. Lawrence currently holds the position of Vice President Tax & Treasury at Primient since 2022. Previously, from 2011 to 2022, they worked at Tate & Lyle, where they served as Vice President - Global Head of Tax and later as Vice President Tax. During their time at Tate & Lyle, Lawrence managed a team of 10 professionals and oversaw various aspects of the tax lifecycle for a global food ingredient manufacturer. Before joining Tate & Lyle, Lawrence worked at EY from 1999 to 2011, where they held the role of Senior Manager and gained experience in tax planning, provision, compliance, and examination. Lawrence also served in various leadership roles at EY, including as the geographic leader in Detroit, Michigan.

Lawrence Pociask obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business in 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution between 1995 and 2000. In September 2017, Lawrence obtained a CPA certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
