Marcus Smith

Marcus Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Marcus has recently joined Primitives as the Head Of Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Fi - Next Generation Dog Collars as a Software Engineer. Before that, Marcus worked at Goldman Sachs as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Marcus also has experience as a Software Engineer at Snap Inc., where they developed features for full screen video playback and interaction on iOS and owned the Stories Fragment on Android. Additionally, Marcus worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple and as an Associate Application Developer Intern at Workday, where they designed and developed employee absence reports. Marcus also had an internship at Akamai Technologies as a Cloudification Product Management Intern.

Marcus Smith attended Foothill High School from 2008 to 2012. After completing high school, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In June 2014, Marcus obtained a certification in Xpress0 Foundation 9 from WorkDay Inc.
