Jarad Yost

Scientist, Process Development at Primrose Bio

Jarad Yost, Ph.D., currently serves as a Scientist in Process Development at Primrose Bio since February 2023, where responsibilities include developing purification processes for a new class of RNA Polymerases that enhance mRNA vaccine performance and evaluating their purity and activity through various analytical techniques. Previously, during tenure as a Graduate Researcher at Texas A&M University from August 2018 to January 2023, Jarad Yost pioneered methods for DNA amplification using electric Joule heating and advanced sample preparation techniques utilizing microfluidics. Jarad Yost also contributed to research and product development at Bio-Techne from August 2015 to May 2018, focusing on Ubiquitin-Proteasome research, and started in research at Colorado State University from January 2013 to May 2015, leading a senior design project on conductive protein crystals. Jarad Yost holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Colorado State University.
