Prince George's County Educators Association
Theresa Mitchell Dudley serves as a Board Member for the Prince George's County Educators Association, representing over 10,000 certified staff in Prince George's County since September 2024. With a teaching career at PGCPS beginning in November 1997, Theresa has also held marketing roles at Dudley Affairs since 2005. Theresa's leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the Maryland State Education Association from August 2021 to August 2024 and as a member of the NEA Board of Directors from September 2019 to May 2023. Previous political involvement includes serving on the Prince George's Democratic Central Committee for the 47th District from June 2014 to September 2021 and as President of the Prince George's County Educators' Association from July 2015 to July 2021. Theresa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 1981 and 1986.

PGCEA supports quality schools through its bargaining efforts to retain and attract teachers of excellence and promote opportunities for ALL students to learn.
