Richard Hall

Richard Hall, AICP, currently serves as a Planner at the Prince George's County Planning Department since November 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of General Manager at the Department of Land Use from January 2017 to October 2023 and was the Executive Director at the Citizens Planning & Housing Association from May 2015 to December 2016, focusing on community development and housing revitalization in the Baltimore Area. Richard's extensive experience in planning includes leadership roles at the Maryland Department of Planning, where responsibilities ranged from Secretary overseeing the cabinet-level agency to Director of Land Use Planning and Analysis managing the largest division of planners, and roles as Senior Planner at Harford County and Planner at Carrboro, NC. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University.
