Azzam Alsudais

Azzam Alsudais, PhD, currently serves as the Dean of Digital Transformation (CIO) at Prince Sultan University, leading the development and execution of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy. Concurrently, Azzam holds a position as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department at King Saud University, focusing on research in network management, cloud systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and middleware systems, while also having served as Deputy CIO, overseeing IT teams and strategy execution for e-services. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Collaborator at AT&T Labs, where Azzam led projects in cloud and network management and contributed to development efforts in edge computing, alongside various roles in IT consultancy, solution development, and research across diverse organizations. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from King Saud University.
