Janet Abrams is a multifaceted artist, writer, editor, and educator with extensive experience in architecture and design. Operating Janet Abrams Studio since 2010, Abrams creates sculptures that explore the intersection of nature and technology. This includes a current role as Co-Curator and designer/editor for Quartz Inversion, showcasing pandemic ceramics from 64 artists globally. Abrams authored "Daddy Wouldn't Buy Me A Bauhaus" with Princeton Architectural Press and has provided editorial consulting for various cultural clients through Leading Questions. Notably, Abrams has served as a Visiting Associate Professor at The University of New Mexico and directed its Architecture + Design Summer Academy. Educational accomplishments include a PhD from Princeton University and an MFA in Ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
