Sachin Akude

Sachin Akude has over 25 years of experience in procurement and vendor management. Sachin is currently working as the Group Procurement Director at Princeton Digital Group since 2023. Previously, they held the role of Procurement Director (India) at Princeton Digital Group from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Non-IT Procurement (Data center) at Netmagic Solutions (An NTT Communications Company) from 2017 to 2021. Sachin also served as the Assistant General Manager - Commercial/Purchase (Data center infrastructure, project procurement) at Idea Cellular Ltd from 2008 to 2017. Before that, they were an Assistant Manager-Purchase at airtel from 2005 to 2008. Sachin started their career as a Sr. Engineer-Purchase at Celetronix from 1999 to 2005, and as a Purchase & Vendor Development Executive at ATCO Industries Ltd from 1998 to 1999. Sachin began their professional journey as a Purchase Assistant at Hercules Hoists Ltd from 1995 to 1998. Throughout their career, Sachin has led procurements for green field datacenter projects, managed relationships with vendors, and implemented effective procurement strategies.

Sachin Akude has an extensive education history. Sachin obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai, from 2002 to 2004. Sachin also holds a Graduate Diploma in Materials Management in the same field from the same institute, earned between 1998 and 1999. Sachin completed a Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management & Professional Studies, Mumbai, in 1995 and 1996. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at S.E.S. Polytechnic, Solapur, from 1992 to 1995.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Sachin Akude obtained a certification in EXIN EPI CDCP® from EXIN in May 2021.
