Cedrik Seefeldt has extensive experience in the field of education, specifically in mathematics teaching. Cedrik began their career in 2007 as a Mathematics Teacher at Dallas Independent School District. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Mesquite Independent School District, where they significantly improved TAKS scores and implemented various data-driven strategies to enhance student learning.

Seefeldt then joined Grand Prairie ISD in 2012 as a Mathematics Teacher before moving to Princeton ISD in 2015 as a Mathematics Teacher and Department Head. At Princeton High School, they taught a range of mathematics courses and developed tests and curriculum for these subjects.
