David Youmans, MD, FACR, is an experienced Interventional Radiologist with a significant background in radiology leadership and advocacy. Currently serving as Associate Editor for Applied Radiology since May 2019, David also holds a board member position at RAD-AID International and has been an integral part of Princeton Radiology since 1999. Additionally, David provides expert consultancy and reading services at Bioclinica and CoreLab Partners, contributing to numerous pharmaceutical trials. Involved in various professional organizations, David has occupied leadership roles within the Medical Society of New Jersey, American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of New Jersey. David's educational background includes a fellowship at Yale School of Medicine and a residency at Washington University, complemented by an MD from UC San Diego and a BA from Stanford University. Prior military service as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy earned recognition with a Navy Commendation Medal for exceptional leadership.
