Timothy Ordal

Timothy Ordal is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in engineering, team leadership, and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Engineering at Principal Financial Group since June 2006, Timothy leads IT partnerships with external vendors, manages incidents, and delivers performance metrics. With expertise in Agile methodologies, Timothy has a passion for coaching IT Engineers and ensuring the execution of business strategies. Previously, Timothy held roles as a QA Lead and Team Leader in Health Information Technology, overseeing critical projects and diverse teams. Timothy also has experience from a brief tenure at Wellmark and a long career at Principal Financial Group, starting as a Senior IT Application Analyst. Timothy holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University.
