Amelia Hong

Amelia Hong is an accomplished professional in the financial industry, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Director of FinAIMS and a Licensed Financial Planner at Principal Asset Management Berhad since July 2018. Amelia co-founded FiveTies from February 2021 to June 2022 and has extensive experience as a Consultant at CIMB Wealth Advisors from June 2008 to June 2018, as well as an Assistant Vice President at UOB from 2007 to 2008. Prior roles include Business Manager at DKSH Consumer Goods from 2001 to 2006, Buyer at MJ Department Stores Sdn Bhd (Metrojaya Group) from 1999 to 2001, and Banker at Citi from 1998 to 1999. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Nottingham University Business School, a Certified Financial Planner designation, and a Bachelor of Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
