Antoine Peiffer

Vice President, Engineering at Principle Power

Antoine Peiffer has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and supply chain fields. Antoine started their career at Dalkia, France as a Project Engineer Intern in the Northern France Commercial Department in 2007. In 2009, they joined Marine Innovation & Technology as a Marine Engineer/Sr Marine Engineer, where they worked until 2014.

Since 2009, Antoine has been associated with Principle Power, initially serving as an Aero-Hydro Lead Engineer. In this role, they led a team responsible for load computations and contributed significantly to the development of the WindFloat technology. Antoine created advanced modeling tools that helped transform the WindFloat from a conceptual stage to a pre-commercial product.

Antoine has progressed within Principle Power and occupied the positions of Manager, Development and Supply Chain from 2018 to 2019, Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain and Development from March to September 2019, and Vice President, Engineering from October 2019 onwards.

Antoine Peiffer began their education in 2005 at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, where they studied Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Antoine received their B.S. degree from this institution in 2007. In the same year, Antoine started pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, where they continued their studies until 2009. Additionally, during their time at UC Berkeley, Antoine also obtained a Certificate of Management of Technology from the Haas School of Business.
