Bradley A Ling has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field.
Starting in 2010, Ling worked as a Facilities Intern at LexaMar, where they were responsible for procuring industrial equipment and updating plant drawings.
In 2011, they joined GE Aviation as a Manufacturing Programs Co-op, where they performed data mining operations to support cost reduction efforts and worked with multidisciplinary teams to fulfill production requirements.
During 2012-2013, Ling took on the role of Mission Analysis Co-op at GE Aviation, analyzing flight profiles and developing software tools for standard processes related to turbofan engines.
From 2013-2014, Ling worked as an Engineer at Belcan Engineering, analyzing flight profiles and determining rotating hardware life limits for GE Aviation Mission Analysis.
In 2013-2014, Ling also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, providing guidance and grading assignments for design and CAD/CAM classes.
From 2014-2015, Ling served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center, where they developed a real-time disturbance estimator for wave energy converters and published research papers.
Starting in 2015, Ling joined Northwest Energy Innovations as a Senior R&D Engineer, where they acted as a project manager and supported the development of wave energy technology. Bradley A led a project funded by the US Department of Energy and was involved in various stages of the product life cycle.
Finally, Ling currently holds the position of Senior Naval Architect at Principle Power, where they conduct global performance analysis of floating offshore wind platforms and handles multiple project assignments simultaneously.
Bradley A Ling completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering - Aero Option from Rochester Institute of Technology. Bradley A then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
