Principal Marine Systems Engineer at Principle Power

Fabien Missir has extensive work experience in the marine systems engineering and project management field. Fabien currently holds the position of Principal Marine Systems Engineer at Principle Power, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, Fabien worked at PRINCIPIA for almost 9 years, from September 2013 to February 2022, as a SURF Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating project engineers, managing planning and cost control, and ensuring project completion within the offshore business unit. Before joining PRINCIPIA, Fabien worked at Single Buoy Moorings as a Subsea/Riser Engineer for over 5 years, from December 2007 to August 2013. Their responsibilities included leading design and package engineering for mooring hawsers, marine hoses, and flexible pipes. Their expertise also extends to their earlier position as a Pipeline/Riser Engineer at Saipem, where they worked from October 2002 to November 2007. In this role, Fabien was involved in various projects, including AKPO for TOTAL, where they conducted fatigue analysis, VIV analysis, and installation of SCRs and steel OOLs.

Fabien MISSIR attended the École Navale from 2001 to 2002, where they pursued a Master's degree in Offshore and Naval Industrial Equipment, with a focus on Oil & Gas studies. Prior to that, they studied at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers from 1998 to 2001, although specific details about the degree or field of study are unavailable.

In addition to their educational background, Fabien MISSIR has obtained certifications. In July 2022, they completed the "Working safely in Confined Spaces" course at DELTA Safety Training and the "GWO Working at Heights" course at HTC TECHNIQUES VERTICALES.
