Fausta Amaral

Vice President, People at Principle Power

Fausta Amaral has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Fausta currently holds the position of Vice President, People at Principle Power, a role they have held since October 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Global Human Resources Lead at the same company starting from August 2018.

From 2008 to 2012, Fausta worked as the Executive Human Capital Director at Cabovisão. During their time there, they led projects focused on cultural and organizational transformation, including the development and implementation of a communication plan for the new Mission, Vision, and Values.

Before joining Cabovisão, Fausta was employed at PepsiCo as a Human Resources Manager from 2006 to 2008. In this role, they coordinated HR activities for the Sales and Central Functions area, contributing to the improvement of sales team performance and efficiency through HR strategic initiatives.

Prior to PepsiCo, Fausta worked at HP as a Human Resources Manager from 2003 to 2006. Their responsibilities encompassed coordination of the Services HR area, and they played a pivotal role in projects related to harmonizing the pre-merge cultures of Compaq and HP, as well as organizational realignment.

Fausta also has experience as a Human Resources Manager at Setelcom, where they were involved in establishing the HR department and implementing core HR strategies and support functions from 2001 to 2003.

Earlier in their career, Fausta served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors at Euresa Portugal from 1995 to 2001. Fausta also practiced law as an Attorney from 1991 to 1996 at legal offices.

Fausta began their professional journey at Portugal Telecom, where they worked as an Administrative Technician from 1988 to 1991.

Fausta Amaral obtained a Degree in Law with a specialization in Legal and Economic Sciences from the Law Faculty Lisbon University, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. In 1999 to 2000, they pursued a Post-Graduation in Human Resources Management at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Continuing their education, they completed an Advanced Management Program focused on Business Management at the TeamView Institute from 2010 to 2011. Lastly, in 2018, they completed a Project Management in Human Resources course, SHRM CP, although the field of study is not specified.
