Greg Campbell-Smith has extensive work experience in various roles related to business development, sales, and management. Greg currently holds the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Principle Power, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at First Subsea for 15 years, starting as a Quality Engineer and progressing to Director of Sales and Business Development. In this role, they led a global sales team, implemented the business development strategy internationally, identified new business opportunities, maintained key relationships, and achieved financial targets. Greg also served as the Head of Sales & Business Development, New Product Development Manager, and Commercial Manager at First Subsea. Before joining First Subsea, Greg was the Managing Director of MGS Technical Plastics Ltd, a company supplying technical parts to various industries. Greg has also worked as a QHSE Manager at Weltonhurst Limited and as a Project Engineer in Carbon Composites at BAE Systems.

Greg Campbell-Smith has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Systems) from Northumbria University. Greg attended Northumbria University from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Billinge High School Blackburn from 1979 to 1984.

In addition to their formal education, Greg Campbell-Smith has obtained several certifications. In 1989, they became a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). Greg achieved the status of Chartered Engineer (Fellow) from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2009. In 2011, they became a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and in 2014, they became a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
