Hyunseong Min, Ph.D.

Dr. Hyunseong Min has a strong background in engineering and research. Hyunseong is currently employed at Principle Power, where they hold the position of Senior Global Performance Engineer. Prior to this, they served as a Global Performance Engineer at the same company. From 2019 to 2020, Dr. Min worked as an Installation Analysis Engineer at TechnipFMC. Hyunseong also gained practical experience as a Hydrodynamic Intern at iOcean Engineering from 2018 to 2019. Dr. Hyunseong Min holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Texas A&M University, where they conducted research from 2012 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Coastal Engineer and Researcher at DY Engineering, focusing on various aspects of coastal design and analysis. Hyunseong began their professional journey as a Graduate Research Assistant at Hanyang University. Hyunseong Min, Ph.D. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2012 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Coastal Engineering from Hanyang University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Hyunseong also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Hanyang University, which they achieved between 2001 and 2006. In September 2018, they obtained the certification of Engineer-In-Traning from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
