Janis Pranevics

Janis Pranevics has a diverse work experience in various industries. Janis started their career as a Senior Analyst at Citadele Asset Management, where they were responsible for third-party fund selection and strategic-level analysis of global equities markets. Janis then joined Baltcap Management as an Associate Director, participating in the management of a 30m EUR VC growth fund and leading investment projects. Janis also served as a Consultant to the Supervisory Board at AMATEKS LTD, supporting the structuring and management of an investment in the company by a Baltcap VC fund.

In 2011, Janis became a Member of the Supervisory Board at EUROLCDS, a company that specializes in producing LCD products, and also lectured at RTU Riga Business School. Janis continued their involvement in the Post Service group of companies (Post Service, Post Service Kurzeme, and Boxnet) as a Member of the Supervisory Board, originating, structuring, and managing the investment in these companies by a Baltcap VC Fund.

Janis then joined Mintos in 2016 as Head of Partnerships, where they played a pivotal role in establishing the platform as a global source of flexible and scalable funding for fintech lending companies. Janis held this position until July 2022.

Currently, Janis Pranevics serves as the Head of Inside Sales at Printful, an on-demand printing and warehousing company that helps people bring their ideas to life. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating and leading the company's inside sales team.

Janis Pranevics completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Business from the Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga from 2004 to 2007. Janis then pursued an MBA degree at the Riga Business School from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute. Prior to these educational experiences, they attended SVG from 2001 to 2004, although the degree and field of study from that period are not specified.
