Jani Hautanen

Jani Hautanen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jani is currently working as the CTO at Prioritio® since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Bittiosuus Osk, an investment services cooperative, from January 2019.

Jani has also worked as a Senior Systems Consultant at Bitcomp Oy, where they were involved in customer projects and utilized their skills in C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML(5), GWT, AWS, and SQL tools. Jani joined Bitcomp Oy in November 2016. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at JSP-IT Solutions Oy, where they designed software, provided IT services, and consulted various organizations from November 2015.

In 2020, Jani worked as a Partner at HearU Oy, a company that developed an innovative ear monitoring system. In this role, they focused on marketing the system to music professionals and companies offering conference services. However, this role was only for a year.

From June 2019 to October 2020, Jani worked as a Director at Global Lean Technology Consulting Ltd. Their responsibilities included IT consulting, systems administration, software development, and enterprise architecture consulting.

Early in their career, Jani gained experience at ABB Oy Power Systems as a Design/Quality Engineer. Jani also worked at ABB Oy Distribution Automation and Elcoteq Network Oyj as a Trainee, where they gained valuable knowledge in industrial IT services, embedded systems, and circuit board composition.

From 1996 to 2001, Jani Hautanen attended the University of Vaasa, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration, with a focus on Information Technology.
