Prior to this, they obtained an Associate's Degree in IT Networking/LAN from Jones College, which they earned from 2009 to 2011.
In addition to their academic background, Barrett has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise in the field of cybersecurity. Barrett is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certified by (ISC)² since August 2019. Moreover, they hold certifications such as CompTIA Project+, CompTIA Web Security Associate, EC-Council Certified Incident Handler, CompTIA A+ ce, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable, and CompTIA Network+ ce, all of which were obtained in 2019 and 2020 from respective institutions.
