Carmel Haye

Carmel Haye is an experienced professional with a diverse background in therapeutic practices and community support. Currently serving as a Supervised Shen Intern at the International SHEN Therapy Association since October 2015, Carmel is in the process of becoming a Certified SHEN Therapist. Prior to this role, Carmel held various positions at Prior's Court Foundation, including Autism Practitioner, Flexible Worker, Team Leader, and Support Worker, demonstrating a long-term commitment to supporting individuals with autism and special needs. From July 1994 to December 2002, Carmel worked as a Community Support Officer at Macclesfield Borough Council, managing a sheltered housing scheme for the elderly. Carmel's educational background includes qualifications in Catering from Macclesfield College and Special Needs Housing and Housing Management from Mid Cheshire College.
