Young People’s Learning Lead Therapy at Prior's Court Foundation

Emma Barnes serves as the Head of Therapy and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) at Prior's Court Foundation, where leadership encompasses a multidisciplinary approach to supporting autistic young people with learning disabilities and additional needs. With prior experience as Senior PBS Lead and Positive Behaviour Support Lead, Emma has successfully developed and implemented training programs, optimized support strategies, and enhanced organizational PBS frameworks. In addition to current responsibilities, Emma's extensive background includes roles as an Assistant Psychologist and Behaviour Support Assistant, emphasizing a commitment to improving the quality of life for young individuals. Emma's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Arts in Autism from Sheffield Hallam University. In tandem with professional roles, Emma contributes as a Co-opted School Governor for Hampshire County Council, focusing on curriculum standards and performance reviews.
