Maria Benito

Maria Benito is an education professional with extensive experience in special education and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Post 16 Education and Teacher and Learning Specialist at Prior's Court Foundation since March 2020, Maria oversees lower school education and leads initiatives related to relationship and sex education (RSE) and personal, social, health, and economic education (PSHE). Previous positions include Lower School and RSE Teacher at The National Autistic Society and Middle School Teacher at Prior's Court Foundation, where Maria specialized in developing individualized curriculum opportunities for students in Years 10 and 11. Maria holds a Master's degree in Sexology, Relationship Counselling, and Gender, Sex Education from Educa Business School and a degree in Primary and Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching from the University of Valencia.
