Richard Hedlund

Richard Hedlund is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Prisjakt since June 2023. Previously, Richard served as a Data Engineer at Volvo Group for a brief period in early 2023 and held various positions at Scania Group, including Associate Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer from March 2020 to January 2023. Richard’s expertise in machine learning was developed during a Master’s thesis at Tobii Pro, focusing on predicting visual fixation on digital advertisements. Additional experience includes a Master’s thesis in mechatronics at AFRY, research internships at Ericsson, and earlier roles in customer service and team leadership. Richard holds multiple Master’s degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Machine Learning, Engineering Design (Mechatronics), and Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
