Markus Oberweger

Markus Oberweger's work experience begins in 2008 as a Software Developer at Bosch. In 2012, they become a Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität Graz and continues in this role until 2013. Markus then works as a Computer Vision Research Intern at Siemens from July 2013 to September 2013. In 2014, they join Graz University of Technology as a Teaching and Research Associate, staying until April 2019. In May 2016, Markus works as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Facebook. From April 2019 to July 2022, they are a Senior Engineer in Computer Vision/Machine Learning at Naked Labs. Currently, Markus holds the role of Principal Engineer in Computer Vision/Machine Learning at Prism Labs, Inc. starting from July 2022.

Markus Oberweger completed their education at Technische Universität Graz. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Engineering. Markus continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in 2014. During their Master's program, they focused on Computer Vision, Smart Sensors, Business Studies, and Law. Markus further pursued their academic career and completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision and Machine Learning in 2018.
