Shawneequa Bigelow

Shawneequa Bigelow, LMSW, is a dedicated medical social worker at Prisma Health since January 2024, with extensive experience in social services and housing advocacy. Prior experience includes serving as the Rapid Rehousing Program Manager at Safe Harbor from May 2015 to January 2024, where Shawneequa developed policies for domestic violence survivors, managed a $110,000 HUD grant, and collaborated on strategic initiatives. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Shawneequa has contributed to the DEI Council and produced educational resources on domestic violence and systemic issues. Additional roles encompass case management for survivors, a DEI Design & Strategy Intern at Nika White Consulting, and customer support at Verizon Wireless. Shawneequa holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
