Shana Thompson

Shana Thompson is an accomplished visual storyteller with extensive experience in photography and media production. Currently serving as a Staff Photographer and Photo Editor at Prison Fellowship since July 2022, Shana manages photo resources and leads photography projects. Additionally, Shana works as a Dog Handler for Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. and has been a Freelance Photographer and Independent Podcast Producer at Soul Voyager Studios since February 2007, capturing a diverse range of subjects including professional sports and documentary storytelling. Previous roles include Photographer at Stanbridge University, Production Intern at Bleav, Staff Photographer at The Coast News Group, Photo Editor at Bob Hoffman Video & Photography, Game Day & Events Marketing Photographer for the San Diego Chargers, and Real Time Correspondent for Major League Baseball. Shana holds a Master of Arts in Digital Storytelling from Asbury University, Certificates of Achievement in Video & Media Design and Graphic Design from MiraCosta College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Tech.
