Tony Pritzker

Chairman & CEO at Pritzker Private Capital

Tony is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pritzker Private Capital. Tony has spent over twenty years leading middle-market manufacturing and distribution companies. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Chairman of AmSafe Partners, the leader in aircraft seating restraints. From 2000 to 2004 he served as President of Baker Tanks, the nation’s leading tank and pump equipment rental business. In 1998, he was appointed by the Marmon Group to oversee Stainless Industrial Companies, a portfolio of several industrial manufacturing companies. Prior to 1998, Tony directed operations in Asia for Getz Bros. & Co., while at the same time serving as Group Executive at the Marmon Group and overseeing several manufacturing companies.

For more than a decade, Tony has been an active member and leader of the Los Angeles community. Currently, he chairs UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and co-chairs the UCLA Centennial Campaign Committee. He also serves on the boards of The Hammer Museum, the LA County Museum of Art, and Foster Care Counts. For his stewardship, Tony has received honors from UCLA Neurosurgery, Friends of Sheba Medical Center in Israel, Young Presidents’ Organization, and the American Jewish University’s Brandeis Bardin Institute.

Tony received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his B.A. from Dartmouth College.
