Bob Blakley

Bob Blakley is currently an advisor at Privacy Vaults Online, Inc., d/b/a PRIVO. Bob was previously the global head of information security innovation at Citi from March 2012 to March 2020. Prior to that, they were a research VP, distinguished analyst, and GTP identity and privacy agenda manager at Gartner from January 2010 to March 2012. Bob has also served as the VP and research director of identity & privacy strategies at Burton Group and as the chief scientist of security & privacy at IBM. Bob has also been a member of The Open Group, where they led the efforts to produce aznAPI, CDMA, and Security Patterns Guide. Additionally, they have organized the New Security Paradigms Workshop.

Bob Blakley received their AB in Classics from Princeton University and their MS and PhD in Computer and Communications Science from the University of Michigan.
