Paul Lanois

Paul Lanois is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance. Currently serving as an Executive Committee Member for the Privacy Law Section of the California Lawyers Association and as the San Jose Chapter Co-Chair for OneTrust PrivacyConnect, Paul also holds the position of Director at Fieldfisher, where advisory services encompass EU and global compliance issues, including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Additionally, Paul provides expertise as an Advisory Board Member for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and has previously worked as an adjunct faculty member at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Prior legal roles include significant positions at Facebook, Credit Suisse, Linklaters, and Allen & Overy, as well as academic contributions as an Associate Professor at Université de Cergy-Pontoise.
