Heather Stephens has held a variety of roles in the past decade. From 2009 to 2010, they served as an ESL Teaching Assistant at Cégep de Sainte-Foy, an ESL Instructor at ELAM: Language School of Montreal, Multi Language Services, and SCAQ: English Communication Solutions of Quebec. In 2011, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Jeffery Hale Friends Foundation and an ESL Instructor at Prolang - Professional Language Services. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University, and from 2016 to 2021, they were a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at University of Toronto. Most recently, they have been a Director of Data, Data Manager, and Data Annotator at Private AI.
Heather Stephens has a diverse educational background. Heather began their studies in 2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2007. Heather then attended Universit\u00e9 Laval, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sciences du langage in 2014. Afterward, Heather obtained a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Science of Language from McMaster University in 2016. In 2019, Heather took a course in Front-end Development at Bridge School. Currently, they are a PhD Candidate in Linguistics at the University of Toronto.
