Erik Tomasi

Erik Tomasi is the Founder and Managing Director of EMTsec, a cybersecurity firm established in December 1999 that specializes in proactive Information Security and Privacy solutions. In addition to leading EMTsec, Erik serves as a Trustee on the SIM New York Metro Board and is a Past Chairman and President of the Society for Information Management, which supports IT leadership and networking among CIOs. Erik is also a member of the Private Directors Association and has held advisory roles with HMG Strategy and Evanta, both focused on leadership development and executive networking. Erik has contributed as a Director at Large for ISACA South Florida, a Partner at Symosis Security, and a Board Member for SIM South Florida and ByteFly, Inc. Erik's previous experience includes serving as Adviser and former COO of DTG Consulting Solutions. Erik holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
