Gautham Ramesh

Gautham Ramesh currently serves as Senior Vice President at Private Energy Partners, beginning in August 2024, focusing on developing tools, products, and processes for the company and its portfolio. Previously, Gautham held the position of Principal/Director of Product and Technology at Avantus from June 2017 to September 2024, leading a software product team dedicated to advanced technologies in energy modeling and optimization. Gautham's early career at Avantus included roles as Sr. Manager of Engineering, Manager of Storage Engineering, Senior Engineer, and Storage Engineer, emphasizing expertise in energy systems and advanced controls. Additionally, Gautham contributed as a member of the Board of Directors for MESA Standards Alliance from March 2023 to September 2024 and demonstrated software development skills in a freelance capacity from July 2012 to August 2016. Gautham holds a Master's Degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University.
