Natalya Gertsik, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Natalya currently holds the position of Vice President at Private Health Management, where they oversee the ClearCancer suite of solutions that provide clinically sophisticated cancer care and cost optimization services to employers. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director of the Health Advisory Practice at Private Health Management, providing health intelligence, risk management, and strategic guidance to corporate clients.
Before joining Private Health Management, Natalya worked as a Senior Director and then as a Director of Research and Analytics at the same organization. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company.
Natalya's academic background includes being a Graduate Student Researcher at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where their research focused on Alzheimer's disease drug development. Natalya also served as a Teaching Assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College and as a Research Assistant at New York University, where they investigated the structure of the erythrocyte cytoskeleton.
Natalya Gertsik, PhD, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from New York University during the period of 2006 to 2010. Natalya then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, in 2015, they attended the Keck Graduate Institute for a program in Managing Science in the Biotech Industry.
