Their most recent position was as a Senior Research Director at Private Health Management, where they provided expertise in strategic business areas, including oncology.
Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Biologist III at Battelle, conducting biomedical research.
Nicholas also worked at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a Research Scientist, managing and directing a research laboratory focused on immunology and investigating novel therapeutics.
Before that, they held the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the same institution.
Additionally, Nicholas worked as a supervisor in the Department of Microbiology at LabCorp, specializing in organism identification and antibiotic susceptibility analysis.
Nicholas began their career as a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and also served as a Laboratory Technician at The Ohio State University.
Nicholas Young completed their education in a chronological manner. Nicholas first attended The Ohio State University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Biochemistry. Following this, they went on to pursue further education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine from 2001 to 2007. During this time, they obtained their Ph.D. degree in Integrated Biomedical Sciences. In October 2008, Nicholas obtained certification as a Clinical Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
