Richard Gartner

Richard B Gartner is a highly experienced psychologist and psychoanalyst based in New York City, with a professional career spanning from March 1974 to the present. Currently serving as a Training and Supervising Analyst, Faculty, and Founding Director of the Sexual Abuse Program at the William Alanson White Institute since 1978, Richard specializes in trauma, particularly focusing on men with histories of sexual abuse. In addition to private practice, Richard co-founded MaleSurvivor in 1994 and has held leadership roles including Past President and Chair of the Advisory Board.
