Matt oversees Privcap’s operations, finances and business strategy, and provides creative leadership across projects and accounts. Prior to Privcap, Matt worked as a manager, marketer, editor or writer for a range of national publications including The New York Times, Conde Nast Portfolio, Fortune and Forbes.
From 2009-2016, Matt worked with Stephen Schwarzman, chairman and CEO of Blackstone, to develop the raw materials for Schwarzman's NYT-bestselling memoir. In 2006, Matt was awarded a full fellowship from Columbia University, studying at the journalism and business schools. He holds two master’s degrees from Columbia’ and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Connecticut College.
