Rohail Alvi

Rohail Alvi has held various positions in the engineering and science industries since 2015. In 2021, they began working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Privoro, where their responsibilities include product development and design for new and existing products, as well as DFM/DFA and FMEA for new products. In 2020, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. In 2019, they were a Product Development Purification Associate at BioLegend. In 2018, they were an Inside Sales Executive at Expedeon. In 2017, they were a Quality Control at Alere Inc., where their responsibilities included testing of Immunofluorescent lateral flow assay strips and comparing to set standards for various FDA and ISO regulations, inspecting, testing and documenting of all products manufactured and/or sold. Finally, in 2015, they were a Math Tutor at Amazing Math Tutor Inc.

Rohail Alvi attended San Diego Miramar College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Associate's degree in Physics with a field of study in Biochemistry. Rohail then attended UC San Diego from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. Rohail is currently attending the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, where they are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
