Omar Rahim

Omar Rahim is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Emirates NBD, Omar leads the risk function across private banking, investment management, and wholesale banking services in the UK, focusing on both financial and non-financial risks. Previously at HSBC from June 2001 to December 2020, Omar held various director-level roles, including Head of Risk Reporting and Analytics, where key achievements included transforming risk reporting capabilities through data aggregation and automation. Additional contributions encompassed enhancing the risk appetite framework and implementing enterprise-wide risk management strategies.
